In 1993 Richard Mekdeci recorded his first album, Shortcut To Paradise, at the legendary Sutdio B Recording Studio in Nashville, Tennessee. Richard is one of the founders of Empower Music and Arts which hosts the Positive Music Awards and Ceremony. He travels with Posi Musicians in Posi Palooza concerts around the country. Recently Richard celebrated the recent release of his latest CD, The DayMaker! According to drummer Bill Wuerfel, The Daymaker CD has "great lyrics with an empowering message." The song "This Prayer's For You" is a powerful ballad with a simple yet effective message. Richard has a way of weaving a powerful message throughout strong melodies and arrangements.
